Michael Whelan is one of my favorite Artists who has inspired my imagination on countless occasions. I met him at Dragon-Con in Atlanta, GA. I asked him to look at my work and give me a critique. Being as successful and busy as he was at that moment I figured he would decline. But he accepted and gave me that critique. To me, this was a testament to his character and I thank him for that.
Keith Parkinson is another of my favorite artists and a great guy, whom I also met at Dragon-Con in Atlanta, GA. Sadly he passed away October 26, 2005. A light has burned out, but his illumination still shines and inspires the mind to soar into new heights of the imagination.
Larry Elmore has been creating fantasy and science fiction art for over 20 years. Besides creating covers for Dungeons & Dragons, AD&D and other gaming books, he may be best known for his work with the world of Dragonlance from 1981 to 1987.
I first saw Luis Royo's work on the covers of Heavy Metal Magazine and I have liked his work from that day on. His site is not in English but his work speaks volumes to all that view it.

His work ranges from film design work such as Heavy Metal, Willow and King Arthur, to hundreds of book covers for authors such as Robert E. Howard (Conan), Edgar Rice Burroughs and Michael Moorcock.
Clyde Caldwell has produced hundreds of cover paintings for his chosen field, and is best known for his portrayal of strong, sexy female characters (his favorite subject matter).
The official site of Boris and Julie Bell. Two of the premiere fantasy and science fiction artists working in the field today.
