Bret Michaels is definitely a man with a mission: After suffering a small warning stroke, the rocker still has his sights set on showing up at the May 23 finale of NBC's The Celebrity Apprentice.
'The Cullen family is large, the wolf family is large, you have three leads,' Melissa Rosenberg tells MTV News of her challenging writing process.

As all die-hard "Twilight" fans know, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg is still hard at work on finalizing the scripts for the two-part "Breaking Dawn" finale, the first of which is scheduled to begin shooting in November. MTV News was lucky enough to catch up with the "Dexter" and "Twilight" screenwriter at San Diego Comic-Con, where she held court on a "Girls Gone Genre" panel. And while she still won't reveal where the two films will break, she did give us a few details about the birthing scene and the "Book of Jacob," as well as some dish on how she plans to handle all of the new characters Stephenie Meyer introduces in "Dawn."

In March, when the "Tron Legacy" teaser trailer dropped online and showed us our first glimpse of a reverse-aged Jeff Bridges, director Joseph Kosinski revealed to MTV News that capturing this CGI-assisted footage was his greatest challenge.

Gathegi set to play 'X-Men's' first biracial mutant, Darwin.

"Twilight Saga: New Moon" actor Edi Gathegi has found his next role in another fanatically loved franchise. Gathegi will play Darwin in the upcoming "X-Men: First Class," Deadline Hollywood reports.
Darwin is the first biracial mutant in the comic series, and he has the power of "reactive evolution," meaning that his body can adapt to any situation. For instance, his skin can become flame retardant in a fire, he can grow gills when submerged in water or he can see in the dark.

As expected, the Walt Disney Co. has acquired social gaming firm Playdom Inc. for $563.2 million, which will enable the Mouse House to integrate more of its characters and properties online.
Deal includes a performance-linked earn-out of up to $200 million.
Over the past two years, Playdom has been able to attract more than 42 million gamers each month to its titles like Social City, Sorority Life, Market Street and Bola that are available on social networks like Facebook and MySpace.
Rihanna is set to make her feature film debut in Universal's Battleship, the Hasbro adaptation of it's popular game to be directed by Peter Berg.The recording artist, songwriter and model will be joining Taylor Kitsch and Alexander Skarsgard in the film, scheduled to hit theaters on May 18, 2012.
Variety says that Zac Efron, who can be seen in Charlie St. Cloud this Friday, is in negotiations to topline Warner Bros.' The Lucky One.Scott Hicks is attached to direct the film based on the Nicholas Sparks best-seller, which centers on a Marine who survives three tours in Iraq. He attributes his good fortune to a photograph he carried of a woman he has never met, and he sets out to meet his good-luck charm when he returns to North Carolina.
Based on the comic created by James O'Barr, Norrington's screenplay was set in two locations: "the southwest -- the Mexico/Arizona area -- and an urban [setting] -- Detroit or Pittsburgh or something like that."
Just a few days after Disney blew Comic-Con audiences away with their Hall H panel for TRON: Legacy, opening on December 17 in Disney Digital and IMAX 3D theaters, Marvel Comics has announced they will release prequel comic books with the two-issue limited series "TRON: The Betrayal" coming out in October.The first release as part of Marvel's acquisition by Disney earlier this year and credited to a new entity dubbed "Disney Publishing Worldwide," these comics will be extra-sized books with art and stories by some of the top creators working today as well as covers by Salvador Larroca ("The Invincible Iron Man"). The blog says that the project has been described as Cloverfield meets Paranormal Activity and will be getting the Area 51 treatment.

"We're cautiously optimistic that he will attend the finale," continues the rep. "But ultimately, it's up to his doctors."
Earlier in the week, Michaels felt numbness in his arm, which he at first thought might be because of his rehabbing twice a day.
