Cheesy B-Movie Goodness: Firewalker with Chuck Norris, Louis Gossett Jr. and Melody Anderson

Soldiers of fortune, Max Donigan (Chuck Norris - Code of Silence, Silent Rage) and Leo Porter (Gossett, Jr. - An Officer and A Gentleman, Enemymine), are ever the adventurers … with little to show for their exploits. When presented with a treasure map by the mysterious Patricia (Melody Anderson), Max and Leo imagine fame and fortune is within their grasp.

However, they must contend with the guardian of the treasure in order to secure their bounty in Firewalker which co-stars John Rhys-Davies and Will Sampson (One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest).

Firewalker gets the Blu-ray treatment for the first time ever! The movie was filmed in 1986 by Cannon (Cyborg, The Barbarians) and features Norris and Gosset in roles like no others they have played. The film is a fun romp that never takes itself overly serious and floods the action with humor and decent chemistry between the two leads, and Melody Anderson makes it a trio-of-a-good-time, which keeps the film from sinking to low with its predictable plot, cheap sets, generic action sequences and cardboard bad guys. The adventure is fun and enjoyable, but leave your Indiana Jones hat on the shelf.
